St Michael's Rocks!

You already know how musical our children are - and today was no exception. We were excited to launch our new Rocksteady band with a special assembly led by Ross from Rocksteady Music, who had the whole hall jiving and celebrating how music brings us together.

Rocksteady works in partnership with thousands of primary schools across the UK, delivering inclusive band lessons that build children’s self-belief, support wellbeing, and help them reach their full potential back in the classroom. During the assembly, pupils were introduced to the thrill of playing in a band, exploring modern instruments such as drums and electric guitar. The launch was full of energy and enthusiasm, leaving children inspired, motivated, and eager to make music together.
